Growing up in rural Piru in Ventura County alongside the orange, avocado, and lemon orchards, I was always surrounded by nature. On the Ranch I developed creativity and the bug to gather and forage the beauty all around me.

I started designing with flowers professionally in 1992 at eighteen years old, and flowers continued in my life through my teens, early adulthood, and through parenting my children who are now young adults. Flowers have carried and grounded me through the many seasons of life.

I read ages ago that when humans look at or smell flowers, there’s a chemical reaction that happens in our bodies. When our senses are activated, oxytocin, dopamine and serotonin releases, and our window of tolerance for all of life’s grievances expands. It is my joy to share the beauty and healing properties this earth has to offer with others.
